The dentist

I went to the dentist for the first time in a couple of years. I've been afraid to go because I'm afraid of the dentist, and I'm especially afraid of a new dentist, and I moved, you see, so I couldn't keep going to my old trusty dentist.

But it all worked out, and I actually like my new dentist a lot and it didn't even hurt except for maybe a little when they were doing those awful bite wing x-rays. Those hurt me. And it's so silly - the equipment is too big for my mouth. Now, I know I'm not a large person, but there are lots of people who are smaller than me, and I just wonder about that whole sizing thing.

Which reminds me - I've been trying to find jeans, and it's just horribly depressing. Nothing fits me. I find it intensely frustrating.

So, um, the point is that what works for some people doesn't work for others, and we should all just release control of one another and learn forgiveness. Most everything should come from a place of love.

Thanks, Dr. Yarbrough.

Umm... I often wonder who on earth can put those things in their mouth... if they are way too big for you and me, they must not fit a lot of people, right? Surely we're not the only ones... sheesh.

Did you used to see Dr. Blanchard? I just learned he passed away this month. Sad. He made going to the dentist tolerable... and let me have the goofy gas until I was 18!

Oh, poor Dr. Blanchard...I didn't see him; I saw Dr. Hudson, but I think of Dr. Blanchard as a Fayetteville legend. We're getting old.

I went to Dr. Blanchard. How on earth did he die? I just saw him.... like 6 years ago. Maybe longer. But he seemed fine! You know, Katie Carder is married to his son...
